Lars de Vos

An all-round dancer and choreographer who graduated from Codarts Rotterdam in 2016. After completing his studies, he specialised in funk styles and reached the quarter-finals of the “Juste Debout” World Championship in 2019. Lars has been dancing with ISH Dance Collective since 2015 and has appeared in productions including Narnia, GRIMM, The Waste Land, Dorian & Rhythm & Flow. He has also danced in several performances and tours with the companies Kalpanarts & Zero Dance Theatre. In 2023, he created his first choreography for ISH Open Nights, followed by the choreography “Burden” for Next Steps and the end-of-year gala of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet in 2024. This was also performed at the Dutch Dance Days 2024 as part of “Masterpieces” and at the Royal Opera House in London. In 2024, he choreographed “Achter de Horizon” to mark 80 years of freedom following the Second World War, assisted Marco Gerris with the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam at the Ziggo Dome, and worked on the HipHop Circus by ISH Dance Collective. He has also appeared as a choreographer on Project Dans and So You Think You Can Dance.
