Léa Sauvignon
Léa Sauvignon (Dijon, France) took up modern dance, jazz and classical ballet from a young age. When she was eleven, she moved to Toulon in France to undertake full-time ballet training at Ballet Studio Marius, where she followed the pre-professional programme. During her training, she took part in various ballet competitions in France and abroad, including a televised competition and, in 2022, the Youth America Grand Prix. After securing third place in the ‘classical’ category, she was awarded temporary scholarships to the American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School and the National Ballet Academy in Amsterdam.
During her studies, Léa danced leading roles in school productions, such as the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker and the Queen of the Dryads in Don Quixote. When she took part in the International Talent Award Competition during her final year, she was offered a contract with the Junior Company of the Dutch National Ballet.
