Lucinda Wessels

Lucinda Wessels (1990) is a dancer, choreographer and DJ. Drawing on her roots in street and club culture, and inspired by contemporary art and fashion, she has developed a distinctive movement language that brings together street styles and contemporary dance. As a performer, she has contributed her expressive, emotion-driven approach to companies and organisations including Dutch National Opera & Ballet, ISH Dance Collective, Nicole Beutler Projects and The Ruggeds. In her own work, Wessels creates multidisciplinary projects that explore the human psyche, emotion and energy, transforming philosophical concepts into immersive physical experiences.
