Performance

Step into the world of Paramaribo Dreams, an intimate family performance by Carl Refos about leaving behind a distant world and discovering new possibilities. In an energetic mix of dance, spoken word and percussion, Carl takes you on his personal journey from Suriname to the Netherlands - and from child to adult. As a 10-year-old boy, Carl boards a plane with his brothers in Paramaribo, full of fantasies about the unknown Netherlands. There he builds a new life and discovers his great love: dance. The performance Paramaribo Dreams is an adventurous performance for young and old about the power of believing in yourself.

Practical info workshop

Group 7 and 8 primary education Class 1 and 2 secondary education
Location: at school or in the theater
Time and duration: the workshop takes place prior to the presentation and lasts 1.5 hours
Costs: € 195, - per group
