In A Fine Mess, a performance by Jakop Ahlbom Compagny and ISH Dance Collective, Brother, Sister and their ailing mother try to survive in an absurd battle against benefit officials, collection agencies and an unmerciful bailiff. While help and well-meaning advice always come just too late, Brother and Sister get caught up in bizarre attempts to get money, even if that means stealing from everyone, including each other. But when a stranger mugger and a dubious sheriff get involved in the chaotic game, even the simple act of refueling seems to degenerate into a farce full of misunderstandings, love, and greed for money. In a whirlpool of bizarre confrontations, they battle with their consciences and each other, until the ultimate question remains: who will go home empty-handed?
